I've put my Living Dead Doll, Dahlia up for auction on Ebay as I lost interest in it pretty quick.

So many things wrong, so little time

Anne just appeared at the house with her little son Michael - and she brought me a beautiful dress!
I was so surprised that I didn't know what to say at first! It's a beautiful brown dress with ethnic type beads around the front. Even though it was my size, it wasn't that fitted to me.
So she wants me to see what my mum thinks too and then if I want it,she'll take it to this Italian woman she knows from church to take it in properly for me around the waist and bust, so it fits exactly.
How amazing is that?
I was so shocked, and she's seen a nearby shoe shop that she's fallen in love with too.

Goes to show, there are some (even if they're very hard to find) amazing people around.

My Metal Hammer arrived today - and not only do I have a free dvd of videos,which includes a live one of My Chemical Romance. But They also have the front cover with a nice spread interview! Woop!
My morning started nicely afterall then :)

I've been a geek and spent a lot of time on the firefly forum. Geek am I, I am geek.
I'm getting antsy about the Serenity film now too.

Meh, my dvd players buggered, so I've to exchange it. Until then, I can't watch my precious series in my room. Noooo!

on a brighter note - tis Ukrainian Christmas eve, which means we eat tonight!! :)

I've already sampled the pirogi and holubti - which are beyond gorgeous. And had some kutya this morning for breakfast, yummy!

Am very muchly looking forward to it, and I actually forgot at normal christmas as it was stashed in my cupboard, but I have a tryzub watch for mum, which I shall give her later tonight.

Yesterday's tickets aren't for the acoustic. Laura rang me back to clear up the confusion. I'd won the runner up tickets, which are 2 tickets to the Northumbria gig :)

They came today afterall, so I made a quick ebay selling, as Neil doesn't have the money to get there.
I saw one seller selling the same tickets and their bid had gone to £41, but I wanted rid, as I need to get them sent by 5.30pm post tonight.
So I put them up for £29 on buy it now and sure enough they went straight away!
Not entirely surprising considering every lostprophets gig is sold out!

Yes, I probably could have gotten more money out of it, but I didn't see the point as I was just fosucing on getting them to the buyer on time.
Hell, that's £29 I didn't have before! :)

I just got a call from kerrang saying I've won tickets to an intimate, acoustic lostprophets gig in Birmingham!!!

Of course, it'd be nice to actually be able to go, because fuck, it's amazing!

She said it's for Sunday, but the magazine said Monday, so I'm confuzzled now.
We'll see when the tickets come through.

I'm not even sure if Neil can go on such last minute notice.
If not, hello ebay!

I got a package from Wilyminx Towers today......

Now, the actual envelope made me smile muchly anyway - then I opened it to find a glossy picture of Mr David Boreanaz!!! (circa Buffy season 2)
I now know why she wrote 'caution: contains item of desire' on the envelope! ;)

Then I read the card and I had tears in my eyes.

Every word meant so much more to me than she knows.
So, as ever, my dearest Rachel has managed to make me smile so very muchly.
It's like she had a secret bat-sense for knowing when I needed a cheering up.
And her mission was very much accomplished!!

I have thanked her, but she deserved a very public praising for being such an excellent friend, amazing person and the best Wiyminx ever!!

I wasn't going to update about my relapse so soon, as today is a shite day.
But in order to post my next entry, I had to... made sense I guess.

But before that -
I shouln't be allowed near Ebay. Oh dear.
And I've bought the most random things - candles. Yes, you read right. But they are pwetty :)

The jury is still out to whether I'll win these two other things though.
I can't say incase I get them - one is for a Wilyminx and the other is a back up for Hannah. I saw the pretty thing and thought of her :) But that one isn't looking good, I have a bitch trying to outbid me. I'll find soemthing similar though, oh yes.
